The air is cold and the snow is glistening in the sunshine. Our charming little village and our homes down in the valley are surrounded by high mountains Those who love the snow have everything their hearts desire on the Krippenstein. Whether you are a downhill skier, love skiing off-piste or venturing out in your snow shoes, the Krippenstein is the place to be. The warm mountain huts are welcoming places to rest and enjoy refreshments. Beginner or professional skier, the Krippenstein has plenty on offer. Down in the valley there is a beautiful cross country ski trail which begins by the lake and passes through the Koppenwinkel Nature Preservation Area.
