Rail replacement service
from "Obertraun" station to "Stainach Irdning" station

Due to the renewed assessment of the hazard situation by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), extensive rock clearing and blasting work is still necessary. Therefore, the line closure between Obertraun-Dachsteinhöhlen and Stainach-Irdning will be extended until 22.5.2024! In addition, the route in the Obertraun – Steeg-Gosau section will also have to be closed until 15.5.2024. A rail replacement service has been set up. The bus for the onward journey via Bad Auseee and Bad Mitterndorf to Stainach Irdning is waiting for you at the train station. She does not need to buy extra tickets. The bus ride is continued with your train ticket. If you have any questions, please contact the train staff (conductor).
